First attempt at uploading a photo!
Well I am being adventurous now and attempting to upload my first photo on my new blog, so here goes:
This is an Ikea mirror that has been crackled and then stamped and painted using the sunflower stamps from the paint fusion range by Sheena Douglass. The Mirror is still covered with Post-it notes to protect it whilst I was painting it.
I couldn't make up my mind whether to add something to the left hand side. I like seeing the crackle effect, but perhaps it is a bit unbalanced at present. If you would like to comment, please do.

Well done on posting your first pic! I haven't tried the sunflower stamps yet (and yes I do have them so no excuse really!)
ReplyDeleteYou achieved a great crackle effect, I've only just found a suitable glue for this myself.
As for whether it's unbalanced, that tends to be a personal thing. So for me I would probably put a small flower head or 3 in the top left corner.
If I'm not sure of something, I put it somewhere I can keep glancing at it and spend a day or 2 deciding. After all it's easier to add than take away.
